I am thinking of buying a boat on which the survey shows everything is in decent shape, except the A4 motor (which is obvious, as has been dissassembled so the crank shaft can be replaced). The owner has the original motor, a new shaft, and the spare motor it came from. I am mechanically inclined (but no expert). How difficult is it to rebuild an A4 and what pointers/advice/'voice of experience' can you provide? Thanks for the help.
