Dear Jerry: Can't be sure if this is it or not but mine acted something like that only at less throttle. Trash collected over the years in the fuel tank blocks outlet to filter and pump, first lowering volume to carb without showing much deribis in the fuel filter, larger pieces can't get through the line to the filter, takes a while from start up till displays itself, has to collect to block tank outlet, try blowing back through the line with a tire inflator, one with gauge will tell you how bad bockage was, show pressure before it clears itself, I thought there probaby was a filter at the tank outlet blocked, no such luck, haven't solved problem as yet, going to try fuel extractor(air operated) to clean tank through cockpit sole inlet. Mine has no guage so there's no other access and removing it would have to be done in pieces.
