This week we are re-installing a rebuilt A-4 into our sailboat. The motor was out when we bought the boat. The 15 gal. fuel tank contains about 6 gals. of gas that probably 2 years old (We bought the boat last fall when it was on the hard).
Is there a means by which to treat the fuel to ensure it is useable and doesn't damage the engine? (A) I don't have a large enough container to siphon the gas into and (B) I don't know where I would dispose of the fuel if I did siphon it out.
