The A-4 in my C&C 29 is very hard to shift into forward. I adjusted the clutch plate ring 1 notch counterclockwise. It shifted easily but slipped as power was applied. The adjusting "tips" I am using says that sometimes the difference between slipping and hard shifting is only 1 notch. I guess I've got one of those unless someone out there has another suggestion.
