Just got my A4 up and running, with the help of a good friend. He doesn't think the water pump is putting out enough water. I've checked the impeller and it looks new . Supposedly the engine was overhauled before we bought the boat.
How should the water come out of the exhaust? Should it come out leisurely( for lack of a better term) or should it come out fast? The boat is out of the water and I seem to loose prime if I don't keep my five gallon bucket full to the top. When the engine reaves up water comes out faster and the pump seems to work much better.
