The TCV (temperature control valve)is used in place of the thermostat. The thermostat is removed and the TCV is placed in line. It is basically a valve that you control to adjust the temp of the engine. It works great and gives you the ability to bring the engine up to a proper operating temperature and keep it there. It also allows the operator to control how fast the engine cools down before shutdown. The main reason I went with Indigo system is that I did not have room for the drive pulley that the Moyer system required on the front of the engine. I am glad I when with Indigo.
